At the Committee Meeting on 18th February 1970 the Captain informed the meeting that “The Jackson Trophy had been stolen from the home of Mrs M Garner of Grange Park GC", and asked for suggestions for raising money to replace it. The Secretary reported that the total present in the Society’s deposit account was £254.19.0, this sum included the £65 paid by the insurance company. It was agreed that a raffle should be held at the Bridge Afternoon. The replacement cost was £135.

An oval 9ct gold Captain's brooch with the Liver Bird painted on an enamel centre, inscribed with L.S.L.G.C. and the word Captain below.
The Captain of Captains' Brooch is presented at the Annual General Meeting in October each year, and held by the Captain of Captain for her year of tenancy.
A Hall Marked Silver Gilt Green Enamel brooch with clutch fitting, inscribed with L.S.L.G.C. and year of Captaincy.
The Past Captain's Brooch is presented at the Annual General Meeting in October each year, at end of the Captaincy year.
A metal Gilt Enamel Badge with clutch fitting, with a white shield design and gold Liver Bird in the centre, and a green scroll underneath inscribed with L.S.L.G.C. in gold.
In January 1989 a sample badge suitable for stitching onto a pullover or blazer was produced. The price to produce the initial badge was £40, with further badges costing £1 each, based on a minimum order of 200. The design was the same as the reigning Captains Badge with L.S.L.G.C. initials underneath. This proved very successful and a further 50 badges were bought in the September.
The Society Pin Badge is used at all Society events.
Presented to the Society on 18th August 1959 by the West Derby Captain, Mr E C Bolton.
A new flag was purchased by Mrs Ann Hurst of Childwall in 1978 at a cost of £25.50 + VAT, and flown for the first time at Formby Ladies that year.
It is noted in the committee minutes of 25th January 1978: “The Captain and Committee would like to place on record their thanks and appreciation to Miss J Richardson and Mrs S Whittaker for the magnificent cloth worked to the design of the Society’s emblem by Mrs F French of Huyton & Prescot, that Miss Richardson presented today, and is a masterpiece of beautiful design and embroidery and will greatly enhance the table at our meetings.”
